Body Max™

BodyMax is an aerobic weight workout which is great funBody Max™ is a Workout with Steel using dumbbells for muscular strength and muscular endurance training. 32 repetitions are used for the workout to the Body Max™ Rhythm, slowing the exercises progressively down. It can be used to work each muscle individually or you can work whole muscle groups at the same time. A very important feature of Body Max™ is focussing on core stability and strengthening the relevant muscles to help promote good posture and well being.

It is a Mind-Body approach to exercise which suggests that if you think about a certain muscle working while you exercise it this muscle will work more effectively and harder. Body Max™ lends itself perfectly to home training and as a
YMCA Personal Trainer I use this type of workout frequently to achieve muscular failure. Working muscles to failure is an advanced training method and the only way to achieve ultimate strength or endurance. Even moderate weights will lead to muscular failure if used correctly.

It is equally important for, both, men and women to train their muscles because our muscles are an important part of our body. They support the skeleton and are responsible for the movement of our joints. Weak muscles may mean that a person cannot walk up the stairs without holding onto the bannister. It may also mean that a person cannot get out of a chair without the support of their arms. Women should also consider training their muscles because the constant pull of a muscle on a bone will strengthen the bone and in doing so delay or even prevent the onset of Osteoporosis.

Weak muscles may also lead to
Back or Neck Problems which can easily be eliminated with the correct instruction through a YMCA qualified Fitness Instructor. See clients’ comments
Body Max™ training not only brings good and fast results, it is also very varied and it is good fun. In choosing the right exercises it can be used to tone muscles and trim the body. For anyone new to exercise it can be done without weights initially, although weights should be used sooner or later to achieve faster and better results.

A well trained body is not only essential for your physical and mental well-being but it will also give you the look you desire. Good Health and Good Looks are No Secret and Everyone can Achieve a Fitter, better looking Self.
